First time I saw Peter was in 1949 when we lived at Shoreham in Sussex and Peter came to visit his Aunty Phyl, my mum, with his dad, my Uncle Jim. My sister and I were so shy in those days and were completely awestruck by our teenage cousin that we ran and hid under the kitchen sink which in that far off era had a curtain round. Can remember to this day how he made us completely at our ease and coaxed us out. He has always been a special cousin and we have many fond memories of him while growing up. He will be missed!
